This one is a good one to start with- it has a lot of familiar songs on it, and its totally worth your 20 bucks. 5 stars the beatles: 1962-1966 this is THE ULTIMATE beatles collection. It's got all their hits, and its one of the best albums you can buy. It comes with all the lyrics, and there are also pictures in the liner notes. 5 stars the beatles: 1967-1970 this album has some of their later, more experimental stuff on it. Right now, its pop-mania. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love nsync(no one else... bsb, ick.. and britney- don't even get me started!!) but, he's the one who's out there telling you how it is, and how he grew up. I respect him more now than I did when he first came out, because now he's not trying to be all tough and cool- he's trying to be the best person he can by helping other artists and being more respectful in accepting awards and talking with other people. 4 stars foo fighters: there is nothing left to loose ok, so, I really haven't listened to the foo fighters before this, but, I really like this CD. Jimmy page writes amazing guitar parts, robert plant has wonderful vocals, and you just can't help loving it. This is one band you can't leave out of the picture. 5 stars matchbox twenty(or 20, if you prefer): yourself or someone like you, mad season both great labums. I like Mad Season a little better, cause it's more rock and that's what I'm into. Rob thomas has amazing vocals, and his lyrics are incredible. God, I wish I could write like that. 5 stars the moffatts: chapter one: a new beginning ok, so, people say they're just like hanson. And in a few ways, they are. But, they're also individuals. And I'll admit, I started liking them because they were like hanson. It's not a major priorety of mine to keep tabs on them- I don't even really listen to the CD that often anymore. But, its a good CD to have around when you want a break from your everyday life. 4 stars mandy moore: so real, I wanna be with you So Real is a pop CD. Plainly put. I bought it because I liked Candy- but there are some other good songs on it. And I bought I Wanna Be With You because of the song of the same name. I don't listen to them all the time, but they're still good to pull out when you want something fresh. 4 stars alanis morissette: jagged little pill a MUST HAVE for anyone. This CD is one of those ones that you just have to listen to every few weeks. I really like this one, and I can't wait for their new one. Please buy it!!! 5 stars nirvana: nevermind, unplugged in new york nirvana is one of the best bands of all time. There's no denying it, so those of you who don't like them might as well shut up right now, because I will win this one. Go get it. 4 and a half stars nsync: nsync, home for christmas, no strings attatched ok, ok, its a boy band. But you have to admit, their songs ARE catchy. And they write. Like, they actually wrote a lot of the songs on No Strings Attached- and, plus, they do have nice voices(not to mention faces...or bodies...ahem) anyways, this is where my inner pop-lover comes out. And I admit, I have their pictures on my wall. Who wouldn't want guys that beautiful staring at you all the time?? I mean, come it, its like, they know youre there ok, so, yes, if you only buy one nsync album, make it No Strings Attached 4 stars phish: billy breathes phish is one of those groups that been around for a while, and is finally getting recognized. They were up for a grammy this year(did they win? I dont know) and they really deserve it for all the work they've done. Check it out. 4 stars santana: supernatural if the guy had one any more grammys last year, he wouldn't have anywhere to put them. You can't disagree with whoever nominated and voted for Santana in the grammys- he really deserves it. This ablum is full of collabotrations with people like Dave Matthews(great song), Eric Clapton, Eagle Eyes Cherry, Everlast, and more. If there is one santana CD you ever get, make it this one. nuff said. 5 stars savage garden: affirmation ok, so this CD is pretty pop-y. but its good. I like it. It goes beyond classic pop themes like "I love you" and "I want you back". Its more "I really feel this way" and "these are my views on the world" and such its really a good CD- theres a song called "Two Beds and a Coffee Machine" that I really like, which is about a woman who is abused and she has to take her kids and leave her husband, and she has no money. Definitely a good pick. 4 and a half stars semisonic: feeling strangely fine this CD is good. If you like Closing Time, you'll like the CD. Trust me on this one. 4 stars silverchair: neon ballroom as always with silverchair, this album is more about world issues than love. Its about daniel(the lead singer)s struggle with anorexia, animal slaughter, a drug-infested world, and more. This is a really hard rockin CD, and its one that you have to have.
